This advanced unit has been designed by our brand Coseyfire and incorporates an advanced pre-heated secondary burn system ensuring a clean and efficient burn. This stove is wonderfully hand constructed and blends traditional styling and modern efficiency. The Petit is made from thick mineral cast iron, and is designed to stand the test of time. Clean lines make it suitable for a wide range of decor, styles and tastes. The Petit is a multi-fuel stove that will deliver a reliable source of heat with an accurate degree of control. Controlled by the secondary airflow lever and the chrome spin dial on the stoves door, you will find this stove a joy to use.
The enamel finish on the Petit looks stunning and the picture does not do it justice. A real unique stove that truly will be the talking point of a room. The advantage of enamel stoves are their fantastic styling and easy clean wipe away surface. However they are know to chip easily and you may find when you receive the stove it may have a few very small chips where the stove has been put together. This does not happen in all cases but we have to make people aware.This small issue is more evident on the Cream/ivory version as they are black underneath the enamel. On the wine red and blue version they do not show up all. If the chips are very large and caused in transit we will arrange collection and new delivery.
DEFRA Approved
The Petit has been rigorously tested and approved to burn wood in a smoke controlled zone. This has been achieved by fitting mechanical stops to preventing the closure of the secondary burn system. With these changes a 5" flue liner can also be fitted onto this stove.
Clean Burn System
The Coseyfire Petit has an advanced secondary/tertiary clean burn system. On more advanced units like this one, it is common to have the air fed in from the rear and split off to be fed over the fire (Secondary burn) and over the glass to help keep it clean and clear (Airwash system). The secondary burn feature is a real advantage as this re-burns the initial gasses and smoke produced from the fire. This means you are getting every drop of heat from your fuel and in turn will save you filling the stove up as often, saving you money and time on fuel.
12 month Guarantee
(This covers the stoves body and not the internal perishable parts like grates and fire bricks.) Guarantee is activated when the stove is invoiced. 6 digit number on the top of each invoice is the warranty number. For stove to be covered it must be installed by a HETAS engineer or signed off by the council.

Stove Construction
The stove is made from thick Australian cast iron allowing the stove to radiate heat for much longer than stoves with thinner castings. The stove is also made entirely from mineral cast iron and not re melted scrap like many others. This gives the stove a much less change of cracking in the future.
Why is a mechanical stop added?
This is to prevent full closing down of the stove. A fully closed down stove burns less efficiently, emitting more smoke particles. This addition combats that issue and allows it to be installed in smoke control areas.
